The EU project “Imaging the proteome at the nanoscale” (IMAGEOMICS) will be funded within the “FET Open” program, which honors novel ideas for radically new technologies with a total amount of 3,7 Mio Euros. MBExC member Prof. Dr. Silvio Rizzoli from the University Medical Center Göttingen will coordinate the international project from 2021 to 2024. During this period the scientists want to combine affinity probes and nanoscale imaging to provide information on the whole proteome of cells and tissues, paving the way for improved diagnostics for various diseases.
