Patrick Cramer received Bavarian “Maximiliansorden”

Patrick Cramer, president of the Max Planck Society and MBExC member, received the Bavarian “Maximiliansorden” for Science and Art on 26 July. The “Maximiliansorden” is awarded every two years by the Minister President in recognition of outstanding achievements in the fields of science and art and represents a particularly high state honor. The number of holders shall not exceed 100.
In addition to Patrick Cramer, saxophonist and composer Klaus Doldinger, ifo president Clemens Fuest, moderator Thomas Gottschalk, author Michael Krüger, composer Isabel Mundry, pediatrician Erika von Mutius, historian Jürgen Osterhammel and opera director Katharina Wagner were also honored this year.
