Researchers at the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG) are developing a new method to better understand the energy production of human cells. Disruptions in this process lead to serious and often fatal diseases that can affect skeletal muscle and nerve cells as well as the heart. The results have been published in the renowned journal “Science”.
