The Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Lower Saxony has accepted MBExC member Viola Priesemann, research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization (MPI-DS) and professor at the University of Göttingen, as a new full member.
She is one of 16 new members of the Academy, which forms a worldwide competence network including around 350 scientists. The new members were officially introduced at the public summer meeting on June 9.
