Dr. Fereshteh Haghighi, postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (HTG) at the University Medical Center Göttingen and Hertha Sponer College Member, has received the Young Investigator Award of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology in the field of “Basic Science”. She was awarded for her scientific work entitled “Electrophysiological anomalies associated with a noonan syndrome mutation in RAF1 contribute to the development of cardiac arrhythmias” at the “Heart Failure & World Congress on Acute Heart Failure 2022” in Madrid.
